lazy fridays are usually a hit in my books. and there’s nothing quite like sipping from a glass of iced green tea to cool off on a balmy, humid afternoon. the only thing that’s missing in this idyllic picture, however, is my voice. sighface. ): right about now, i sound like a frog. it’s rather sad, but i suppose once this week-old flu finally clears up, i’ll be as good as new. i hope!
since i can hardly speak (much) without coughing like a mofo, i’ve taken to surfing the net more often than usual. props to my unlimited mobile phone data plan: i’m almost surgically attached to my iphone these days. being ill isn’t the best reason, nor excuse to go all loco on the shopping interwebz, but opening multiple sites [mercibeaucoup, milkfed, x-girl etc.] seem to have a certain therapeutic effect. :D now, if only i had an unlimited shopping budget to match that unlimited mobile phone data plan. a girl can dream, yes? ;p
i have so many frivolous things on my to-buy list, it’s not even funny. after much vetting, that list still has at least ten items on it. oh well. i’ll put it up sometime, and try to validate my reasons for including those items, lol.
onward to a couple of updates: courtesy of the good people at front row, the first A.P.C. stand-alone store in southeast-asia has finally landed on our shores! ♥ i am so happy. (((: i’m dying to take a look, so making a trip to the raffles hotel shopping arcade is definitely a priority on my list.
actually… has also opened its second store, actuallyactually, at purvis street. -excites- boasting plenty of street cred, and featuring new collections from complex geometries, damir doma’s silent, someslashthings and more, it promises to be a haven for cult label lovers and style-meisters alike.
